History of DACFP
Our organization was conceived in 2018 by Ric Edelman, one of the top thought leaders in the financial services industry.
DACFP was created in July, when Ric invited Paul Pagnato of Pagnato Karp; Ray Sclafani of ClientWise; Alex Potts, CEO of Loring Ward; and Jamie McIntyre of Rewire Capital to its first meeting. A second, two-day event was held two months later in Chicago and attracted more than two dozen experts from the tech, consulting, regulatory, VC and advisory communities, including:
DACFP has since presented educational events for dozens of organizations, including Barron’s, Schwab, TD Ameritrade, T3, Dow Jones, Investment Advisers Association, and the Financial Planning Association. It has also hosted dozens of its own webinars and conferences, including March 2021’s VISION, the premier conference on blockchain and digital assets attended by more than 1,200 financial professionals.
DACFP gives financial professionals the ability to establish expertise in blockchain technology and digital assets through its online self-study program and become Certified in Blockchain and Digital Assets.
What began as a small, invitation-only meeting of forward-thinking, influential individuals has become a major organization sought-after by those in both the crypto and financial services industries, firmly establishing DACFP as the premier digital assets resource for the financial services industry.
