David Canter is executive vice president and head of the RIA and family office Segments at Fidelity Institutional (FI), the Fidelity Investments business that offers financial professionals and institutions access to the investment, technology, and platform solutions they need to service their clients and grow their businesses. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals.
In this role, Mr. Canter oversees a team that provides a comprehensive custody platform, brokerage services, trading capabilities, and practice management and consulting services to registered investment advisors, (including strategic acquirers and multi-family offices), single family offices, and wealthy families.
Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Canter served as executive vice president of Practice Management and Consulting for Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading the development of a comprehensive Practice Management program structured around helping advisors accelerate growth, streamline their operations, and manage risk. Prior to that, Mr. Canter served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Fidelity Institutional Wealth Services (IWS), where he was responsible for the oversight, efficiency, and effectiveness of client-related operational processes. He was also the business lead, coordinating legal, risk, and compliance activities.
Prior to joining Fidelity in 2009, Mr. Canter managed certain operational functions and vendor relationships and served as chief legal and compliance officer for Post Advisory Group, an institutional investment advisor in the high- yield realm. Mr. Canter also held various management positions at Charles Schwab & Co., within the firm’s RIA business, including a corporate counsel role; vice president, Schwab Institutional Trading & Operations (SITO); and head counsel to the Schwab Institutional business. Previously, he held positions with the QuellosGroup, an investment adviser focused on the fund-of-funds business, and the New York Stock Exchange Division of Enforcement.
Mr. Canter received his bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin and his juris doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 24 license and is a member of the State Bar of California.

Dan began his career as an internal supply chain management consultant at DuPont before designing and building enterprise financial planning, analysis and machine learning applications for large corporations at Anaplan. He started his cryptocurrency journey as a bitcoin miner, ultimately pivoting towards software applications for digital assets.
Dan went on to co-found Blockchange and to develop the BITRIA Digital Asset TAMP with his Penn State roommate, Dan Rothrock. BITRIA is the digital asset investing platform for professional wealth managers, bringing the modern portfolio theory-based tools of traditional finance to the world of digital assets.
Dan graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Business Management and Entrepreneurship. He lives with his wife Caroline in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Michael Greenwald

Michael is responsible for managing a number of Tiedemann’s client relationships and overseeing their advisors to provide solutions that address the challenges of stewardship of wealth over generations. As a member of the firm’s business development and strategy team, he is a referral resource for attorneys and accountants. Michael is also Director of Digital Asset Education, in which role he provides education across the firm on issues related to digital assets and blockchain technology.
Prior to joining Tiedemann in 2017, Michael worked in senior roles within the United States Treasury working with Africa and Europe. He served as a financial diplomat in the Middle East spanning the tenures of U.S. Treasury Secretaries Geithner, Lew, and Mnuchin. Greenwald initially served as the United States Treasury Policy Advisor for Europe. In this role, he was appointed head of the United States Delegation to the Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism before the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France. Greenwald was part of the U.S. Treasury team that crafted U.S. sanctions against Russia, the largest U.S. sanctions program to date, and negotiated similar sanctions by Europe. Between 2015-2017, he served as the first United States Treasury Attaché appointed to Qatar and Kuwait and opened the Treasury Department’s office in Doha, Qatar. He also served in a variety of counterterrorism roles in the U.S. Intelligence Community and in the Office of General Council at the U.S Treasury. Greenwald worked closely with the National Security Council at the White House tackling issues and crafting sanctions programs related to countering ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran, Ukraine/Russia, Syria, and North Korea.
Michael is a frequent speaker, writer and commentator on international security, the Middle East and the global economy. He has been featured on CNBC; published in Barrons; and given lectures at The Council on Foreign Relations, Harvard, Yale Law School, Stanford, and Northwestern Business School, Doha.

Mr. Hoffman joined Invesco in 2006. Prior to his current role, he was head of distribution for the Registered Investment Advisor Division, Private Client Group and Personal Investing Platforms. Previous to this, he was head of ETF distribution for all retail channels in the United States. Before that, Mr. Hoffman was the Global head of ETF Capital Markets & Institutional Sales, where he built and managed capital markets functions spanning execution and liquidity services, research and content, and sell-side relationship management. Prior to joining the firm, he spent three years with Archstone Consulting as a senior analyst in the CFO Advisory Solutions group, where he led global implementation of financial reporting and consolidation tools at several Fortune 100 companies.

Jon has 25 years of experience on Wall Street, most recently as the lead Model Portfolio Strategist at Merrill Lynch managing their ETF model portfolio business within its CIO Office. Prior to managing Merrill’s ETF model portfolio business, Jon was the Senior Closed-end Fund Research analyst within Bank of America-Merrill Lynch Global Research. Prior to joining Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, Jon was the lead Research Analyst covering Closed-end Funds and BDCs at UBS and its predecessor firm, PaineWebber. While at PaineWebber/UBS, Jon worked in structuring closed-end fund IPOs and subsequently covering new funds.
Jon has authored many papers on Closed-end funds and ETFs, has appeared on Reuters, Bloomberg, CNBC, Cheddar TV, Yahoo TV and is often quoted in leading financial publications including The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s.
Earlier, Jon served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Kiev, Ukraine, focusing on privatization projects.
